We will be screening 'Children of Heaven' to salute the never ending bond between a brother and a sister.We will screen it on the day of Raksha Bandhana which is 24 of August at 1pm in the Conference hall.

Inauguration of CHALANACHITRA

The Dept.of English in association with The Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy inaugurated CHALANACHITRA-our cinema club. Sri P.Sheshadri-five time National Award winning film director was the chief guest.Dr.B.T.Venkatesh-Principal Sri Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain College JC road,Dr.Mythili Rao-Dean of Languages,Prof.H.N.Prakruthi-Head Dept.of English,Sri Shrikanth Deshpande-Kannada film director,Sri Nikunj P.Trivedi-President of the cinema club,Dr.H.K.Shiv-Vice president,Sri Anilkumar NJ-Treasurerof the club,Mrs.Hansa Muthappa,lecturers from the various departments and students had attented the function.
